Well, to tell you the truth the name doesn’t ring a bell, but this guy was an Indiana Basketball Player. Eli Holman who was thought to be returning to play his sophomore year for the Hoosiers isn’t. This guy is one piece too, he has the balls to throw a potted plant at and or near Coach Crean. I don’t know the whole story, but he should have been arrested. I wonder if he was crying when the cops came?

Barry Zito of the San Francisco Giants has been demoted from his starting role to the bullpen. After receiving a $126 million contract, Agent Zero is off to an 0-6 start with a beastly 7.53 ERA. The next step for the Giants: find a way to cough up $112.5 million still guaranteed to the 2002 Cy Young Award Winner. Nice.
In later news, the wi11is’s Uncle Tony has opted to try baseball for the first time in attempt to lock up the open role.

After winning the Cy Young award for the best pitcher in the American league in 2007, C.C. Sabathia is off to a very slow start in 2008. The Indians ace is 0-3 with an astounding 13.50 ERA. For those of you who don’t know baseball that means hes falling flat on his face. In his last outing which was this past Wednesday, he gave up 9 runs in 3 and 1/3 innings against the Athletics. WOW!! Already this season, he has allowed 32 hits in 18 innings and has walked 14. DOUBLE WOW!!! Hopefully with my good buddy rackbar in the stands this summer break cheering C.C. on, maybe he can climb out of the dumpster….

Nascar Sprint Cup rookie Michael McDowell is a lucky son of a bitch. Five years ago he probably would have died from that crash. Nascar has really improved safety features on the cars and tracks. This goes to show you that these safety restraints do work. After the crash all he had was a couple bruises and a hell of a story to tell for the rest of his life. Read the rest of this entry »

Tom Crean will be the new IU basketball coach. Good call on my part on my last post of not even saying his name. Andy Katz says there will be a news conference tomorow. All that IU is waiting for is a signed letter of agreement. Read the rest of this entry »

Yea it’s true. Armon Bassett and Jamarcus Ellis have been dismissed from the team f-o-r-e-v-e-r. Dakich dismissed them for apparently missing scheduled meetings. This is kinda shady and I bet we will never hear the whole story. So if Gordon goes pro that pretty much leaves Crawford to lead the backcourt. Read the rest of this entry »

According to the Indiana Daily Student Tony Bennett was contacted by Indiana’s athletic director Rick Greenspan. There was a discussion and even though Bennett was not offered the job, he said, “I thought about it, but I’m not going to pursue it.” So there goes IU’s number one choice for a coach. Greenspan wants to have a new coach by Thursday, and if he had just contacted Bennett on Saturday, that proves that he is really hustling. Names left on the list are:
