Delta Upsilon a fraternity, ever since I can remember “Delta Oops”, is continuing the legacy of being a majestic frat. This past weekend a 19 year old female, most likely a freshman (I doubt they can get older girls who know about them to come to the frat) was raped there. I am not saying there aren’t any nice guys in this frat, but they do have a bad name going for them and this incident won’t help.
Little 500 is over and looking back at my phone this is the only video I took. I don’t know what was wrong with the blond, because the brunette was ready to suck face. Read the rest of this entry »
It was a beautiful day yesterday and all of IU enjoyed it. The party went on all day and night. We had city inspectors come up to us and tell pick up all the garbage. Our neighbors got a fifty dollar ticket for all the shit they have on their porch. Around 6 or so everyone was getting ready to go to the DMX concert. A few hours later people came back from it and had a great story to tell. DMX lasted three songs before the concert got shut down. The entire front row of the pissed off attendees got maced. These are college kids who just wanted to see a concert and you mace them? That is bullshit. If they wanted the crowd to leave all they should have done was fire a couple shotgun rounds in the air and the students would have left right away. The police should not have maced them. The IDS has some of the story.
Little 500 week has already kicked off, so I figured I’d share with some of you who have never experienced. This first video is of crashes during the race.
Yes, it isn’t a rumor the United States used to prohibit the consumption and sale of beer. So to celebrate, throw a toast up to FDR for repealing that bullshit.
Thanks again Kelvin for ruining our program. It was finally announced today that Eric Gordon is going to enter the NBA draft. From my perspective he was a let down at IU. Read the rest of this entry »
Sunday, April 6th Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds will perform for free at Assembly Hall (doors open 5:30, concert starts 7:00). The concert is free for all Indiana residents. All you need to get a ticket is a Indiana Driver’s license.
Tom Crean will be the new IU basketball coach. Good call on my part on my last post of not even saying his name. Andy Katz says there will be a news conference tomorow. All that IU is waiting for is a signed letter of agreement. Read the rest of this entry »
Yea it’s true. Armon Bassett and Jamarcus Ellis have been dismissed from the team f-o-r-e-v-e-r. Dakich dismissed them for apparently missing scheduled meetings. This is kinda shady and I bet we will never hear the whole story. So if Gordon goes pro that pretty much leaves Crawford to lead the backcourt. Read the rest of this entry »
According to the Indiana Daily Student Tony Bennett was contacted by Indiana’s athletic director Rick Greenspan. There was a discussion and even though Bennett was not offered the job, he said, “I thought about it, but I’m not going to pursue it.” So there goes IU’s number one choice for a coach. Greenspan wants to have a new coach by Thursday, and if he had just contacted Bennett on Saturday, that proves that he is really hustling. Names left on the list are:
